Delta Star Radio now operates a radio station for the eastern
Tallahassee, Florida area. We've named it Musicbox 1610.


Our format is a blend of Gold-based AC/soft oldies; Billboard Top 40 hits from the 1950s and 60s; country and country crossovers; and specialty Christian music shows. We are the new flagship station for the classic Christian "MUSIC OF NEW LIFE" radio program.

Our first day on the air was September 16, 2007. We use a Harmilton Rangemaster transmitter with a 102" whip antenna. Our power is 100 milliwatts, as authorized by the Federal Communications Commission. As our name implies, we operate on 1610 kHz.

Our future goals include moving the station to a building of its own, as it has overtaken two rooms of the house and spills over sometimes into other areas. We are growing and it's a happy problem!

Our coverage area includes the area around the Super Wal-Mart
Center on the Apalachee Parkway. We are slightly directional, with more signal to the east, west and northwest.
